A WORDART FOR MOM AND DAD

I made these pages when Iya was still months old. I have been planning to post these wordarts as my freebies but I just can't find the time. I used Jael's kit of Jaelop's Design ( Her link is in my link favs) for my daughter's page. And with Iya's dad, I just played around with the background and used a custom shaped tool for the cherry. I am sorry I did not take note of where I got that free custom shape tool. Well, it's about 9 PM here and I am sleepy. I did some heavy gardening this morning. I have been wishing for rain so I won't spend 2 hours a day watering my garden. I also wish i have those so-called automatic sprinklers. HOw relaxing it would be!

FINALLY I FOUND THE TIME

Oh dear! My last blog update was October 2009! I don't know if I still have to greet you a Happy New Year.LOL. At an any rate, HAPPY NEW YEAR! Gosh, I can't remember what happened after October 2009. We had a lovely Christmas with my hubby, John, Crissy, Ian and our adorable Iya of course. She turned 1 last December 4; held her party at Shakey's in Cebu with a Tinkerbelle theme. Thanks to my sister Nida who provided the costume, some giveaways and the Tinkerbelle poster. As usual, we missed (as always) Edrica and Jimboy during the holidays. OUr New Year celebration was not that fun because Crissy and her family left after Christmas so it was only me, dad and John. Since we did not have fireworks at that time, my son and I had a great time popping our fireworks in Farmville (a facebook game) turning on the computer's speaker at full volume. HAHAHA.

2010? well, so far so good. I miss my son John though because he is in Manila with my sister and her family. I visited him recently and I had a very relaxing 3 week vacation ( although I got sick for a week) . I was so happy to see my own family. i miss them so much and even more now that I back home. I was so sad for my brother because he was in the hospital when I left Manila but I'm glad he has recovered from high blood pressure and very low potassium. Thank God it was not a heart attack. I was soooooooo happy to be home with my husband and when I arrived there was a board posted by our entrance door welcoming me. Hahaha. He was super sweet to do that. I am home and back to my routine. The usual homemaker duties , Facebook games, and scrapping. I have not started with painting ( my sister introduced me to it) even though I don't know how to draw. I am still waiting for my son to come home and do the sketching for me. Hahaha. I am excited to paint and not to draw.Hihihi. I also bought a 1000pc puzzle and it is still sealed in a box. I'll probably start doing all these new stuff when my son arrives. I am pretty sure I will have less time in the computer when he gets back. We are both Facebook gamers. Hihi

OK. Of course when I update my blog, I have to give a freebie as a thank you gift for dropping by. IT'S BEEN SO LONG

Hi everybody. Long time no hear from me. Hehehe. Well, I 've got a few reasons for not updating my blog. One, I guess I ran out of ideas especially when I see more beautiful freebies on other blogs. I ask myself why make freebies when there are tons out there. Pirates will get them anyway. Grrrrrrrrr! Next is I want to go back learning more photo effects in photoshop. Hmmmm. do you think it is OK to share other people's tutorials here? Well, I guess I better be safe. I probably just take note of their links which I NORMALLY forget to do. Hihi. Well, the real main reason for not blogging right now is FACEBOOK! I got so hooked up with their games. Farmtown, Farmville, Lil Farm, Fish World, Yoville, and Cafe World. Well, I am almost done with a couple of farms and retire playing them. hehe. No regrets. I gained more friends anyway. And a lot of my SBF friends are there too . I am sure some of them are not posting new scrapbook pages in SBF lately like myself because of these games too. Hahahaha!

Well, I can't stop without leaving you guys something. So here's a little freebie for you. I know they are simple but I still hopeyou like them. Please give a little love when you get them.

SISTERS WORDART

Hi! Iknow it has been a long time. ihave been quite busy lately. First my sisters , Nida and Liza, My niece Pia was here for a vacation and to celebrate my 50th birthday ( agh!)last July. Ate Nida stayed for a week while Liza and Pia stayed a weel longer. We had great fun. It has been a year since Isaw them so I was really thrilled with their arrival. We just toured around Dumaguete ( just a small place on one of the Philippine Islands .LOL.

The sample picture is our eldest sister Nida. it was really sad that she had to leave earlier. Time was too short for our bonding. When I was scrapping some our photos, I got inspired to do some wordarts about sisters. This is what I really feel for her and LIza. The other photo is just the three of us taking a dip in the cold natural spring waters of Forrest Camp in Valencia. We just stayed in the water to take pictures. It was super cold.

I am sure these wordarts will be very useful for your scraps so I hope you like them. Gotta go now. I having allergies and slight colds. I think it was the smell of cut grass. I had my bermuda grass cut yesterday.

This is a page I also entered in the Animation Challenge in SBF. I truly enjoyed doing this page though making it gave me a little headache. Hahaha. Maybe because of the waves. lol.

Iya's Pink Room

There's is an upcoming challenge in Scrapbookflair called Create a Child's room or Nursery. I wanted to create my own room for Iya and when I finished it, i decided to make it as a quickpage. I am sorry i could not put the elements I used in the sample photo. I ws not able to ask permission from the designers. Anyway, I am putting the name of their blogs as credit to them. I hope I did not miss any. It took me about 4 days to decorate it .LOL Phew. I really enjoyed doing it though . I hope you like the QP just used the magic of hue/saturation adjustment layer on photoshop to change the color of the room. I had a hard time with the curtain so I am so sorry if it isn't perfect.

BTW, do you see my new animation award on my sidebar. That's from Xena! She made it for me. Sooooo cute! Thank you my dear friend! You are one of the sweetest I have.

The picture on the wall is a framed photo of my grand daughter Iya. I entered that page on a challenge called Thinking Pink. I don't think I will win though. huhuhuhu again. Hahaha. I also made the books but I did not like them so I did not include them in the QP.

Oooops. Now I am so sorry. I could not find the designer for the rabbit , clothes and gift. I will look for them and update the credits. i promise. Hehehe.

This is my grandson Popo.He recentlyhad a basketball tournament of his guest's fathers last June. When I visited Xena's Blog http://maidenxenaprincesswarrior.blogspot.com/ , I saw this cute basketball Quick Page which is so perfect for Popo. I also entered this animation in an Animation Challenge at Scrapbookflair . Isn't it cool.

Xena's fantastic animation pages ( and also freebies of course) inspired me to learn animation. I could not beat her yet though. HAHAHAHA! Check out her blog , I am sure you will enjoy her blog. Her music, animations and designs are superb! Thanks Xena for these QP.
