HI Everyone. Our national election is finished.  As usual, there was massive vote buying, cheating, whatever you can think of.  It was really so frustrating to discover that many people sell their votes to the highest bidder.  I don't think I can't blame some fellow citizens if they decided not to vote. Was the first computerized voting system successful?  Ask the people and not the Comelec.  I really feel so so so bad for a family friend who almost everybody ( and even the city hall) know  won the election . What happened!! So sad so so sad. Until now I and my husband are really hurt for him and his family.  I guess we just have to look at the positive side .  Maybe there is something better for him.  We really wish him and his family the best of everything. Just be patient. As  they say, the truth will always prevail.  God bless you and your family.

OK. Let's go back to scrapping!LOL. I played around with my daughter's(with her husband)  photo. GOt inspired to make a mini  kit . I read in one of her comments that she likes blue ( I thought she liked earth colors like me)  so I made the main color blue. I also named it after her.  I really miss her so very much. I hope i had more time to make elements.  I really would like to try all the shapes and brushes I downloaded  but my son John is back and he uses the computer at night. Also, I am getting back and arm pains if I stay long on the computer. I really need a Wacom. LOL  I hope you like this. HAPPY SCRAPPING!

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

 Happy Mother's Day to all my friends ( okay let's include the enemies LOL), blog friends, cyberfriends, facebook friends, scrapbook addicts, and relatives. I know it's a little late but I made a page for my daughter and I love the wordart that I made. I want to share it to all of you for your Mom's pages. However, it is late, you can use it if you want to send love to your moms anytime. I am getting addicted to making wordarts than kits right now. I am still trying to learn Illustrator. At least i've learn the basic already ( well, not all the tools though).

I don't have a maid! She left a couple of weeks ago for a vacation and did not return. Too bad she brought my old celfone. A big lesson for me.  It's quite hard without a maid but honestly, I am enjoying it sometimes. Well, I have 2 rambutan trees in front of the house and sweeping the fallen leaves is really giving me  back and arm aches.  On the positive side, it really makes me perspire a lot. Great exercise to burn sugar and lose weight.  I lost 3 lbs in 2 weeks. Not bad. I am happy that my son is back. I can't believe it, he helps me with the chores and he sometimes sweeps the garden. Halleluja!!!LOL.

Elections will be on Monday.  I hope everything goes smoothly though I doubt it.  It is our first automated election . Unfortunately, some memory sticks failed when tested.  People are losing trust on the machines. I really hope there will be no people power if it fails. God bless the Philippines!

WORDARTS AGAIN

My son is arriving anytime soon so I will be off to the airport in 35 minutes.I am really so excited to see him. It;s been more than a month, although he has been in Manila for i think 4 months. We visited him last February during his birthday. Oh I don't know if I mentioned that but I spent a 3 week vacation in Manila that month. Well, I don't know what his plans are but we wish we the very best of luck . I hope he is thinking of going back to school though I doubt it.  Anyway, we love him very much and whatever it is in his mind, we just hope it is for his betterment. 
Well, before I leave I have 2 wordarts for you. I was doing some pages for Iya and made my own wordarts so I decided to share them to you. OH i don't know if Iya's father will like me posting her cute nude photos but i really find so adorable. So, to Ian ( my son-in-law) sorry but I can't help but post it.  Don't worry  I did not post this is Facebook. Hahahaha. About the other photo, Iya loves dogs and she has been trying to catch Scooby but he is just so annoyed of her. LOL. I could not find a wordart for it so I just made one.

For my Mother

Home alone! Crissy and Iya are back in Cebu. My maid left last Friday and Dad's back to work. All alone during weekdays but my son John Matz will be home by Sunday. So excited to see him. He has been in Manila since January. got no maid so this will be very fast. my kit is not finished yet.  Well, not satisfied is the truth. No headlines in my life except that my husband turned 62 last April 13. No celebrations but a whole lechon arrived. MY MY MY! and it is just me, dad and Crissy and Iya.  We gave some to the relatives , cooked paksiw na lechon, and stored some in the fridge. I think i still got some in there. LOL
OOOH ! I really had great fun with Iya even if I had backache and armaches.  I wished she stayed a little longer. I 've got tons of pictures of her again and I really don't know which one to do first.  Just look at my Facebook Photos to see a lot of her.

 Well, Mother's Day is coming ( that's mean MY DAY )LOL so I decided to just do some wordarts in the meantime. I am trying to learn Adobe Illustrator but I never thought it would be so complicated. My friend Allyn said that it would be a lot easier if I have a wacom tablet but ... uh oh... too expensive . Hope you like these wordarts and would find it useful in your scrapbooks. A Freebie as Promised

Finally I was able to upload my Qp in 4shared.  I don't know why it's so difficult to upload there now. I am actually making a kit but I am not satisfied with it yet  so please settle for a QP for a while. Hehehe.

I am quite sad today. Iya and her mom are leaving tomorrow night.  We will terribly miss them again.  Too bad I can't convince my daughter to have her next baby here again. I don't know if I can stay long in Cebu to take care of her and her new baby.  I really wish I could but I can't leave her dad so long. He needs a driver. Hahahah!
Well, I just wish dad and I will have the time to visit them in Cebu.  Hopefully after the elections. Hope his boss Tata Villanueva wins the congressional seat , Karen (the daughter) wins as Mayor in Bais City. And Woodrow Maquiling as Mayor of Dumaguete City.  They are all deserving of the positions not because they are our friends but they are really good and honest people. We really need that in our country.
Okay, I am quite in a hurry because we are taking Iya out to the mall again.  Oh dear oh dear I will really miss her. Will talk more soon. HAHAHAHA! Happy scrapping friends!
