BLING BLING

I am so happy today because I was able to chat with my daughter who is touring San Diego and Seattle right now with her hubby. She's, I believe, the most efficient nurse in the Oncology department of St. Joseph's Hospital, Maryland so she really needs that break. I am so happy that she was able to meet Mickey Mouse. HAHAHA! Well, I know they are trying their best to have a baby. " Sometimes, it takes time Babygirl. We'll always pray for that time to come soon." We miss her so much. And I hope the next time they plan to travel, it will be to visit us.

Another good news is, finally, I decided to REALLY visit my own family in Manila. I got my ticket already so that i won't be able to change my mind anymore. Like I always do for the past 5 years. Now, it is final. I am so excited but I hope i can stand the heat and the traffic ( which I hate hate hate in Manila)

Fiesta Season

The month of May has been the so called "Fiesta Season" in our country so that means a lot of EATING! So are wedding events . In fact me and my husband has just attended 3 for this month . I don't think I can achieve my 10lbs weight lose dream for my daughter's wedding on July 5. HAHAHA!

Speaking of weddings, my nephew JR is getting married on June 8 in Bacolod City. Well, that would be about 6 hours or even more driving (because of all these road construction going on) from here but i'm sure we will have fun . It would also be nice to go out of town sometime and visit relatives. I've been stuck here for more than a couple of years now. Hahaha!

Well, it is fiesta time so I made some freebies that you might like. I've got banners and balloons for you! Well, I want to share with you an easy trick to change a color like the balloons? This is how you do it:if you are using adobe, go to hue/saturation adjustments or simply click CTRL + U , pick a color you want to change with the dropper and just play with the sliders. Ain't that easy as ABC?

My Gradient Kit

FINALLY I know how to zip a file! Hahaha! I honestly did not know how before.

Anyway, I am still frustrated because I gained back the 3 lbs I lost . Well, it is my fault. I am having a hard time disciplining myself. PLUS I am very much addicted to chocolates. My husband just bought me 2 packs each of Baby Ruth and Butterfinger. What can I expect? Gosh, I really have to lose weight before my daughter's wedding on July 5. I have not had my gown made yet hoping I will lose a few lbs.

Hmmmm, I don't know if I can blame digiscrapping for gaining weight too. Imagine sometimes I sit for almost 3-4 hours designing , editing, scrapping, emailing, searching, downloading etc... But, what the heck! I am enjoying it. HAHA!

I am already finished getting all the required documents for my Crissygirl's wedding. My gosh no wonder some people don't get married anymore because of all these requirements. HAHAHA.

Our Animal Friends

It is a rainy day today. I hardly perspired doing my exercise. Typhoon Butchoy is out of the Philippines now . I hope we get a clear weather soon so that the road constructions here will get finished . I have been wasting too much gas using the long cuts to get to downtown. Grrrrr!

Well,now to digiscrapping> Sometimes it is very hard to design something for the boys. In fact until now I still don't have much ideas. So, I decided to cut and edit some pictures and save them as baby boys' embellishments. My niece Marivic will be having her new baby boy by July so I am sure I will be able to use them soon .
