RAINY SUMMER DAY!

It has been raining for 2 days already. Not just a little summer rain but real "rain rain go away" LOL. Well, since i'm tooooo lazy to go out , I decided to continue my new kit. I call it I Heart You kit. Hihi. I really don't know else to call kit. My friend Fritz aka Chingjp taught me how to make the shape texting style ( is that how I should call it? lol) and tried it. I want to share them with you. I enjoyed doing the trick though. it's simply making a shape with your custom shape tool (I am using adobe cs3) and texting inside it. I only made 2 papers, if you want to change the color, simply play with the hue/saturation adjustment layer. Just like what I did on my sample page.

In my LO, I just borrowed some leaves I downloaded from digiscrapdepot. And of course, the photo is my favorite model Iya, my sweet grand daughter who I am missing so much. BTW, the first photo is a page I made for SBF ( my favorite scrapbooking site) . The heart and charm on "I have a Big Appetite"page is from Jaelop.

Missing my Baby

I don't know why. Probably it is because it was Mothers Day yesterday. I am missing my babies who are so away from us. Edrica in the the US and Jimboy in Dubai. Edrica was recently awarded as Most Outstanding Nurse in the Oncology Dept. I made a page for her using Xena's Country Kit.http://maidenxenaprincesswarrior.blogspot.com/ Thank you Xena for this awesome kit. I am so sorry for not giving credit to the designer of the elements I used for Jimboy but whoever you are, I am really so thankful to you. Maybe you could send me a message so I could edit my blog.

We celebrated Mother's day with my sister-in-laws. Really had fun eating and playing mahjong (a famous chinese game) . I am so excited to see my youngest son who will be coming home from Boracay maybe tomorrow of Wednesday but also a bit worried because I know he is having a bad cough. Her aunt called to tell us that we need to have him checked by a doctor because of his frequent nightmares. I really pray that there is nothing wrong with his pancreas.

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY EVERYONE. I am so happy that none of my children who are all not with us right now, did not forget to greet me this special day. Our yungest John Matz will be home next week from Boracay ( unfortunately he will be coming home with a bad cough).My daughter Crissy called to greet me and I got a call from my son Jimboy in Dubai and he sent me a cash gift. Yipee. Edrica my eldest who is in Maryland sent me a note in my facebook account. Oh she does not have to send me a cash gift. She does already every month. LOL. I miss them so very much. My very special gift is from my husband, a bag of chocolates and a CAR!!! It will be ready by next week. HAHAHA!!

OK now about bookscrapping, LOL, I don' have a freebie today because I've been very busy making scrapbooks for friends and my grandchild using free kits from very good designers. I used a couple of them . The first photo which is me and my mother is from Fritzie aka Chingjp. My New Kit

Hello Everyone. Finally we have electricity and my computer is a OK. Ihad my computer fixed because I did not know why my drice C is running out of space. I had 900mb left.Took them almost 4 days to fixed it but could not find the reason and when they checked my space it had 10.5 gb left. Wierd.. So I told them to just install Kasperky anti virus. Believe it or not I found the cause by myself. I was browsing my files and saw this "Temp File" . I deleted eveything in after using the internet and that's it. Hahahaha. CCleaner can't do it all.

My blood pressure is okay now. I think I had to have my sugar and cholesterol checked. I am also missing my youngest son. He has been in Boracay since April 12. He has been out of town for a month already. He texted me and he said there is a ghost in their boarding house. Their double bed started shaking and their things moving around the other day. What an experience for him.

Well, I have a freebie. I don't have a name for it. Hehehe. I guess it is because I am starting to have a headache and can't think properly right now. Hope you find them useful in your scrapbooks. Post Happy Easter!

Guess I did not have the chance to greet you a Happy Easter. Better late than never though. My husband and I had our Easter Holiday in Cebu with our grand daughter Iya. She has grown so much and looking more like her mom. Sooo Cute. She's also as smart as her Tita Edrie. hehehe. Well, we did a lot of malling, eating and a little shopping of course. I guess my husband did more shopping than I. I could say that he has a new wardrobe. hahaha. It was his birthday last April 13 anyway. I think he wants to look better and younger now that he is 61. Hahaha. I'm turning 50 very soon and I still want to look younger myself. hahaha

I am making a kit right now and I will be posting it soon. My computer was infected by a virus and I had to send it to the shop. I had no computer for 4 days . I had nothing to do that time so I started making a traditional scrapbook for Iya. I love digitalbookscrapping better though the traditional one is more challenging. I did a lot of heavy cleaning, rearranging etc while my computer was on repair and now I am still recovering from a high blood pressure . Huhuhu. I just got my computer yesterday so I'll try to finish my new kit today.

So happy to be back. Home Sweet Home. I think i'm happier now that I have my computer back. HAHAHA! Will be back!

Another Wordart

I've been busy in my computer since this morning hoping one of my children get online. Too bad, no one made a buzz. Hu hu hu. Anyway, after a heavy gardening this morning, I just could not get away from the computer. I did a lot of editing for my nephew JR who made a visit from Bacolod. He brought some pics of his first baby girl Yza and ask me to edit some for him. I got also inspired to do some wordart because again, I was to lazy to look for one that would find Yza's page. BTW Yza was born just two weeks earlier than my granda daughter Iya.

My husband and I are going out for dinner tonight. He knows that I have been rearranging and repotting my plants for more than a week already so he wants me to take a break from cooking dinner tonight. Yipee!

Here is my freebie for you. I don't know why I focused on "happiness" when in fact I am so disappointed that I have not heard from my son and daughter who are out of the country. Well, I guess it's because it a word we always want to have.
P.S. If you have to change the color and if you are using adobe, just use the hue/Saturation adjustments and play with the sliders.
